Legislation & Policy for Sector Strategies

About

State workforce agencies and local areas have known for some time the promise of sector strategies in helping grow economies and labor forces, and have created legislation and policy to support such efforts. Not all legislation will work for all state economies, but the reports described below and listed on the left-hand side of the screen offer insight into those policies developed and their impact on sectors.

The resources listed on the left-hand side of the screen under “Related Content,” provide some guidance on the kinds of legislation and policy some states have in place to support sector strategies with workforce development.
