Steps to a Successful Sector Partnership
About
Sector partnerships can be formed in a number of different ways, depending on the economy of the region and the industry itself. However, there are some fundamental steps that may be taken to ensure these partnerships are successful.
The tool described below and linked to on the left-hand side of the screen under “Related Content,” offers advice within three areas: organizing a workforce partnership; convening, operating and sustaining the partnership; and achieving the goals of the partnership.
- Workforce Partnership Guidance Tool: Offers easy-to-follow guidance for workforce agencies to enter into sector partnerships. In the first section, it breaks down the initial steps around organizing such a partnership by covering identifying a sector and the initial engagement with both employers and workers.
